‘Self-confidence’
‘Self-worth’
‘Self-acceptance’
‘Self-respect’

These are all words which reflect the opinion we have of ourselves. Having ‘π’½β„―π’Άπ“π“‰π’½π“Ž’ self-esteem can influence our motivation, mental well-being & day to day life.

Self-esteem can impact our relationships, decision making and emotional health. Low self-esteem can manifest in many ways;

- believing others are better then you
- focusing on our weaknesses
- intense fear of failure
- putting others needs before our own
- frequent experience of fear and worry

This is to just name a few. But, we can take steps to build our self-esteem…

• Using 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐒𝐭𝐒𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐞π₯𝐟 𝐭𝐚π₯𝐀
• Practicing 𝐬𝐞π₯𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐒𝐨𝐧
• Recognising what your 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 at
• Building a 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐒𝐭𝐒𝐯𝐞 support network
• Trying a talking 𝐭𝐑𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐲

We can help others with this too, by celebrating our loved ones successes, attempts and times when they have not been successful. Encouraging them to be more active and to be kind to themselves.
